Located in the heart of the Margaret River region, Bussells Bushland Cottages is a gazetted “Land for Wildlife” and “Wildlife Land Trust” sanctuary. The rustic charm of our 8 well-appointed rammed-earth cottages is complemented by the natural (20 hectare) bush block, well treed with jarrah, marri, banksia and peppermint trees; and home to prolific birdlife, possums, brush-tailed phascogales (wambengers), bandicoots and kangaroos.
The property is within easy reach of all of the region’s delights and is only 5km from Margaret River township.

The 8 cottages have private facilities, 2 bedrooms, a sitting area, dining facilities, fully-equipped kitchen and covered front verandah.
All are self-contained with colour TV, DVD player, refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, glassware, electric kettle and toaster.
A pot belly stove provides heating in winter (with supplies of wood kept on the back verandah) and reverse cycle air-conditioning both warms and (in summer) cools the living area.
An outdoor setting and a gas-fired barbeque are located on the front verandah.
2 of the cottages (named Couples Cottage) have a queen-sized bed in both bedrooms, 4 (Small Family Cottage) have a queen in the main bedroom and 2 X singles in the other and the remaining 2 (Family) have a queen in the main bedroom and 2 X double bunks in the other. Where 1 or 2 guests book, it will be assumed that the booking is for a single or twin / double and the 2nd bedroom will be locked. If you require the use of the 2nd bedroom for any reason, extra bed charges will apply.
Pets are not permitted on the property, under any circumstance.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay. The photos don’t do it justice. Immaculately
clean - everything is like new. Cottages are lovely and such a great location 5 mins
to town but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere.

Spent the weekend there with my family and friends. Just a wonderful location.
Close to Margaret River town. Tranquil and lovely walks out in the bush. Nothing
beats a great pot belly stove fire for those chilly evenings.
Lovely accommodation. Will definitely be back.
